The global medical community has reached a dangerous crossroads: Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR).  For decades, overuse and misuse of standard antibiotics have allowed bacteria to evolve into "superbugs" capable of resisting our most potent reserve drugs.  As traditional pipelines dried up, clinicians faced a daunting question: What happens when the antibiotics run out?
