Listeria Disease (Listeriosis) My aim to write about this condition is to spread awareness that such conditions prevalent in the global environment can knock on our doors as well, because we are all aware of the COVID spread. Listeriosis is a serious infection caused by the bacterium Listeria monocytogenes . While it's relatively rare, it can have severe consequences, especially for pregnant women, newborns, older adults, and people with weakened immune systems. Symptoms Symptoms of listeriosis can vary widely but often include: Fever Muscle aches Headache Stiff neck Confusion Loss of balance Convulsions In pregnant women, symptoms may be mild or similar to the flu. However, the infection can cause serious complications for the fetus, including miscarriage, stillbirth, premature delivery, or severe infection in the newborn. Causes Listeria bacteria are found in soil, water, and animal feces. They can contaminate a variety of foods, including: Unpasteurized milk

CHANDIPURA VIRUS Chandipura virus (CHPV) is a relatively rare but serious viral infection that primarily affects children. It's named after the village in Maharashtra, India, where it was first identified in 1965. How it spreads CHPV is primarily transmitted through the bite of infected sandflies, though some mosquito species and ticks can also be carriers. Symptoms The onset of symptoms is often rapid and severe. Common symptoms include: High fever Headache Vomiting Diarrhoea Seizures Altered mental state In severe cases, the infection can lead to encephalitis (inflammation of the brain), which can be fatal. Risk Factors Children are particularly susceptible to CHPV infection. Additionally, living in areas with a high population of sandflies increases the risk of exposure. Prevention Currently, there is no specific vaccine or antiviral treatment for CHPV. Prevention primarily focuses on controlling the vector population (

Let me give you a tour to a more fancy term other than KETO DIET or INTERMITTENT FASTING. Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) is an eating disorder characterised by a limited intake of food due to avoidance or restriction, but not necessarily due to body image concerns. Unlike anorexia nervosa, people with ARFID are not preoccupied with weight loss or body shape. This can lead to nutritional deficiencies and health problems. Reasons for restriction: Sensory issues: They may dislike certain textures, smells, tastes, or colors of food. Fear of negative consequences: They may be afraid of choking, vomiting, or allergic reactions. Lack of interest in eatin
