CPR- A lifesaving technique

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, CPR is a therapeutic and meticulous way of saving one’s life, if he/she is collapsing and slipping into death with cardiac arrest.

So, the above-mentioned line explains why CPR is important because any life is more valuable than anything in the world.

Earlier in the world of paper and pen (before digital era), this knowledge was just limited to medical professionals or paramedical staff.

In today’s world everybody is omniscient and is always ready to gain any kind of useful knowledge.

So, I am sharing one more skill which can be added to a persons’ persona as an additive. It is called CPR certification which is now available online as well. There are many societies either governmental or non-governmental provide you with certain certificates.

Red Cross society provides you with this authorization.

So our point is whether we should go for online classes or not?

Why think this much, let’s compare both the platforms and give thumbs up to the one you choose.

Benefits of Online classes: -

·       Flexibility- You can follow your personal time and convenience.

·       Accessibility- You just need a screen gadget and an internet connection, and you are set to be a life saver.

·

Cost-effectiveness- No extra renting of halls and managing meals for the trainees.

·       Self-paced learning- Learn it at your own pace, not according to the allotted time by the organizer.

·       Review material- If access is present in your account, it can be reviewed several times and be clear and advert at certain places.

·       Interactive simulations- In this world of artificial intelligence, a person can be anywhere and he can speak to you from any corner of the world, you just have to listen and understand.

·       Immediate results- Examinations held in the view of teachings given away are immediately evaluated and advise us to focal areas.

·       Time efficiency- Web-based CPR training programs take less time.

·       Reduced distractions- This becomes completely subjective, to avoid distractions one sits and get the trainings done in a single attempt.

·       Constant accessibility- All the videos, manuals and materials are just present at your single click, isn’t it amazing?

After knowing this, I guess we are pretty sure how we are going to pursue our seminars on CPR.

In these conditions, you need to be calm first, then only you can provide first aid, otherwise you are going to harm the victim severely like rib fracture as the most common complication.

Approximately 15 to 20 percent of EMS-treated out0of-hopsital cardiac arrests occur in a public space ().  The immediate hands-on resuscitation and calm and effective act of a bystander have saved people and has increased the survival probability and positive neurologic symptoms.

This technique has fortunately improved the mortality rate and has somehow helped people to live longer.

CPR is considered an additional help with AED, which is abbreviated as Automated external defibrillator, which only gives a beat when heart stops beating while CPR assist the heart to resume pumping of blood.
